Safety pass

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The safety passport ( Engl. Personal Safety Logbook ) is an unofficial document that is used in the field of work safety, especially on construction sites and in industrial plants. According to the SCC regulations, it is prescribed for all operational employees and managers.

The safety pass should set the same standard for contractors and clients in terms of occupational safety as well as health and environmental protection . Since it is personal, it should strengthen the co-responsibility of the employees and summarize all evidence of the qualifications required for the assigned tasks (instruction, training, orders). The responsible supervisor can easily control all important information. It also serves as proof of having passed the SGU examination .
