Siciliqua

Siciliqua (Sicilicus) was a unit of mass (measure of weight) and was considered to be the pharmacist's weight due to its size .

For the ancient Roman measure of weight applied

  • 1 Siciliqua = 2 drachms = ½ lot
  • 1 Siciliqua = 1 sextula + 2 scrupels = 2 quents
