Sidwaya

Sidwaya is a daily newspaper from the West African state of Burkina Faso . It was founded in 1984 by then President Thomas Sankara and served as the government's press organ.

Even today is under Sidwaya the Information Ministry , but now has more editorial freedom. In 2005 the circulation was 3000 copies per day. It has the most professional appearance of the Burkinabe newspapers, but it suffers from its low level of public credibility.

The editor-in-chief is Daouda Émile Ouédraogo.
