The building was built in 1909 and entered into the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach on January 26, 1989 under No. S 008 .

House No. 26 is part of a closed group of Art Nouveau buildings , which consists of houses No. 26, 28, 30 and 32.

It is a two-and-a-half- storey house with eaves that was built around 1910. A mansard floor closes the house at the top. For urban planning reasons, placing it under protection is in the public interest.
