Signo or Signotext is used in logistics to mark the package for general cargo and is used to identify it during transport and when goods are received.

The signotext is usually given by the recipient of the goods when they order. The usual content of the multi-line text, which is printed in large letters on the packaging, is the order number, article description, batch numbers , dimensions and weights. The Signo is either printed directly on the package packaging or affixed using a Signo label.

With the help of laser printers it is even possible to sign direct deliveries with the logos and data of the intermediary. There are already automatic package packaging systems that weigh and pack the package, print the label and stick it using a robot arm.
