Siiri Nordin (born October 15, 1980 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish rock and pop musician.

Career

Nordin became known to the public as the singer of the Finnish band Killer , which split up in 2005.

In 2003 the singer recorded the radio hit "Sydämeni osuman sai" (a cover of the classic "Something's gotten hold of my heart" by Gene Pitney ) for the soundtrack of the film "Helmiä ja sikoja".

In May 2006 Nordin released her first solo album "Me Too". The successor "Lyö Tahtia" (Eng. Beat the beat ) was released in March 2008 and the single "Viimeinen Palanen" from the album was played for the first time in November 2007 on the radio station YleX.

Nordin was active as an actress in the entertainment series Tabu, among other things.

In autumn 2004 Nordin and her friend Mirja registered their partnership, but this ended in 2007. Siiri Nordin's parents are the sculptor Antti Nordin and the set designer Metti Nordin. Nordin's brother Reino is an actor and the artist Outi Heiskanen is her grandmother.
