Silver bread plate

The silver bread plate is the highest award of the German Caritas Association (DCV). In doing so, he honors volunteer or full-time employees who have rendered outstanding services to the work and idea of ​​Caritas and have significantly supported the DCV.

The bread plate is usually only awarded to personalities who have already been awarded a certificate of honor, a silver or gold medal.

The silver bread plate is made of pewter . It shows Christ in the miraculous multiplication of bread and bears the inscription "Christ is in the shared bread - The German Caritas in gratitude".
