Silicon Teens

Silicon Teens was the name of a virtual new wave and synth pop band that existed from 1979 to 1980.

history

The band was founded by Daniel Miller in the UK . It was a one-man project in which Miller played all the instruments and sang all the voices. Silicon Teens consisted of the non-real members Darryl ( vocals ), Jacki ( synthesizer ), Paul ( e-beat ) and Diane (synthesizer). For media appearances, these were embodied by actors. Miller used the pseudonym Larry Least .

All pieces are on electronic instruments rehearsed versions of older rock and roll - and beat -Klassiker from the decade from 1955 to 1965, they are among other Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Johnny & the Hurricanes, the Beatles, Rolling Stones and Kinks gecovert .
