Sima Zhou

Sima Zhou ( Chinese  司馬 伷 ) was a general of the Chinese Wei Dynasty at the time of the Three Kingdoms . He was the sixth son of the famous strategist Sima Yi and his wife Fu ( ). In the Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms by Chen Shou (233-279) he appears in two places: When the Wei general Cao Mao is overthrown , he opposes the emperor on the orders of his brother, the regent Sima Zhao , but refuses to accept him attack yourself. Eventually the emperor is killed by officer Cheng Ji.

During the great Jin Dynasty invasion of the Wu Dynasty in 279, Sima Zhou led one of the six wedges of the army on behalf of his nephew Sima Yan , who ended the Wei Dynasty in 265 and proclaimed himself Emperor of Jin. Sima Zhou contributed to the capture of Wu Emperor Sun Hao in the spring of 280.
