Simon ben Pazzi
R. Simeon (in Palestine with a Greek name: Simon , in Babylonia called Simeon ben Pazzi ), was a well-known Amora of the third generation (approx. 290-320).
He was a student and trader of Yehoshua ben Levi , lived in the south, often in discussion with Chanina ben Papa , teacher of Tanchum ben (bar) Chijja from Kefar Akko and Chilqijjas, who often passed on in his name.
