The Simon-Schwaiger-Schanze is located on the Lauchsee outside of Fieberbrunn and consists of several ski jumps . The facility includes three smaller jumps of category K 10, K 15, K 25 , and a middle hill of category K 50. The jumps are not covered with plastic mattings. It is the home hill of the former top jumper Andreas Widhölzl .
history
The first ski jump was built in the 1940s. At that time, jumps of up to 50 meters were possible. The Silberbergschanze was built in 1979 . In the years 2001/02 the ski jumping facility was rebuilt, a new floodlight system was installed and a new K 15 hill was built. After the renovation, it was renamed the Simon-Schwaiger-Schanze .
