Simorgh tree

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Simorgh tree , also Simurgh tree , known in the Avesta as the Saena tree , is the “mother of all trees” in Iranian mythology . It grows in the middle of the sea and is said to be the origin of all plants. It is sometimes referred to as the “tree of all healing” or “tree of all seed”.

This primeval tree houses the nest of Simurgh , also Senmurv or Saena , the legendary mythical bird behind the Qaf mountains . It also produced the seeds of all other plants. Nearby is the mighty Gaokerena plant, which brings healing when you eat from it and gives immortality to the resurrected bodies of the dead .

The tree of the seeds is guarded there by the fish Kara, which prevents a frog from gnawing at the roots of the sacred tree.

In addition, the “righteous donkey” guards the tree, another mythical creature that has white fur, a golden horn, three legs, six eyes and nine mouths. He stands in the middle of the Vourukascha Sea and destroys the beings that harm the tree.
