Juice crew
The Juice Crew from New York City , USA , was a loose group of hip-hop artists around the music producer and DJ Marley Marl and his label Cold Chillin 'Records . Her active time was in the mid to late 1980s. Members of the group were Big Daddy Kane , Biz Markie , Craig G , Kool G Rap & DJ Polo , MC Shan , Marley Marl, Masta Ace and Roxanne Shanté . There was a thematic distribution of roles among the rappers, so Biz Markie was responsible for the fun factor, MC Shan made a name for himself as a battle MC , Big Daddy Kane was the women's favorite and Kool G. Rap was the gangster. Almost all of them went on to have successful solo careers.
In January 2008 filming began for The Vapors , a film designed to retell the story of the Juice Crew. After a year the shooting was stopped due to lack of money.
