Kool G Rap (real name Nathaniel Wilson ; born July 20, 1968 in Queens , New York ) is an American hardcore rapper .

biography

Kool G Rap grew up with a variety of black music styles, which influenced him on his later career. In Queens he met Eric Barrier and DJ Polo , who were key co-founders of old-school hip-hop. With the help and marketing of DJ Polo, he recorded It's a Demo / I'm Fly 12 . The product was released on the Cold Chillin 'Records label which was extremely successful in the old school scene.
