Sina monastery

The Sina Monastery and Sina Samdrubling ( Tib. Zi na bsam 'dug gling ) was an early monastery of the Sakya school in the historical region of Amdo . Later it became a monastery of the Gelug School. Its location is in today's Huangzhong County in the Chinese province of Qinghai , there in the village of Shangsi in the large community of Lanlongkou.

The monastery was built in 1427 by the imperial teacher Sina Lama (Chinese) Quepa Jianzan .

The Sina monastery has been on the Qinghai Province monuments list since 1998 .
