Singapore University of Social Sciences

The Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS for short) has been Singapore's fourth university to be recognized by the Ministry of Education since 2005 . It emerged from the SIM Open University Center, which was founded in 2002 and is still housed in its building on Clementi Road . The abbreviation SIM originally stood for Singapore Institute of Management , the name of the predecessor institution.

The Singapore University of Social Sciences has around 6,500 students, most of whom are professional, pursuing part-time or continuing education courses. The wide range of courses covers areas of the 4 faculties: Art & Social Sciences, Economics, Personnel Development and Natural Sciences & Technology.
