Sinking line

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A sink line is a fly line that does not float. With this line, instead of air bubbles, as is the case with a floating line, tungsten dust is stored. The sink line is made in different sink rates (sink speeds). This makes it possible to fish the fly in different water depths and currents.

Sinking lines are used in conjunction with streamers and tube flies . They are marked with S for sinking (e.g .: WF6 S ).
