The Fichtelberg roller-skis is a summer and winter sports facility with a biathlon shooting range in the municipality of Fichtelberg in the Fichtel Mountains .

history

From May 2010 to August 2011, an approx. 2.5 km long paved , illuminated roller-skis course with 15 shooting lanes for small caliber was built for a total of 1,246,728 euros eligible total costs. On August 21, 2011, the roller ski route was inaugurated with Evi Sachsenbacher-Stehle .

Biathlon shooting range

The Fichtelberg roller-skis has an approx. 2.5 km asphalt roller-skis track that can be completely illuminated with floodlights . A snow-making system ensures snow is guaranteed even in winters with little snow, so in conjunction with the roller-skis, the system can be used for training and competitions all year round. The shooting range has a total of 15 shooting lanes.

Events

Since the opening of the roller-skis, regional events and since 2016 the Alpine Cup of the Nordic Combined Women have taken place.
