A mother takes her two children by the hand. Human role models can be read from the type of posture and the directions of gaze: the younger daughter seems undecided. She seeks eye contact with the mother, whose behavioral measures she is waiting for. The older son, on the other hand, confidently turned his head forward. It embodies an advanced stage of "cutting the cord". By depicting them in timeless clothing and barefoot, the artist elevated these figures from the individual to the general.
