slack is a magazine that deals with the world of boardsports. In addition to the core sports of surfing , skateboarding and snowboarding, this also includes topics related to fashion, music and culture. The focus is on the way of life of the people who live in these worlds.

slack was founded in 2005 by b & d Verlag in Hamburg . At the beginning of 2007 the trademark rights were transferred to pulse publishing GmbH. The editor is Wolfgang Block, the editors-in-chief are Wolfgang Block and Agi Habryka.
