Smod is a band from Mali produced by the musician Manu Chao .

Stylistically, the music can be assigned to world music , with the use of acoustic guitars and reggae-typical offbeats giving the music a relaxed sound and rap and folk elements rounding off the sound.

Albums

The first album "Le Cour de la Vie" was released in 2002, her second in 2004 under the title "Vas-Y". In 2011 " I Phone You (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)" (7 titles) was released.
