The So sword is an African weapon . African swords were developed and used in different countries and by different ethnic groups in Africa as weapons of war, hunting, culture and class. The respective designation of the weapon refers to a variant of this weapon type that is assigned to a certain ethnic group .

description

The So sword has a straight, single-edged blade that is sharply curved just before the location . The blade begins on the handle with almost the same width as the handle. Two angular projections are forged on both sides of the cutting edge. The blade has a strong central ridge that runs approximately to the middle. At the height of the angular blade protrusions, there is a circular hole for decoration at every protrusion on the blade and at the end of the central ridge (see picture info box). The entire booklet is made of wood and is wrapped with copper wire for better handling. The So sword is used by the So and Topeke ethnic groups.
