So This Is Suffering is a deathcore band from Los Angeles , California , formed in 2007 .
history
The band was founded in 2007 in Los Angeles , California and, after several line-up changes, consists of singer Rudy Flores, guitarist Robert Brown, bassist James J. Williams and drummer Zechariah Gamez. Former musicians include Zedadiah Martinez, who co-founded the group with Gamez, Gilbert Morales, Jon Gil and Richard Gutierrez.
The group released a demo with three pieces in their own production in the year it was founded. The two EPs Harlot and So This Is Suffering were also financed out of pocket. The debut album A Deathscene on Delay , released in 2012, was also produced without the help of a record label. After the band was signed by Unique Leader Records , the second album Palace of the Pessimist was released in early March 2017 almost five years later .
From April 8 to 23, 2017, the group toured along the west coast of the United States with Lord of War .
