Soan Papdi

Soan Papdi , also Sohan papdi , Soam papdi , Sohan halva or Patisa , is a common South Asian ( India , Pakistan , Bangladesh ) sweet. It has a rectangular shape and is made from sugar, chickpea flour, flour, ghee (clarified butter), milk and cardamom . The consistency of Soan Papdi is fibrous-soft to crispy and flaky. It is traditionally served on the Hindu festival of Diwali .
