Types of social recruiting

Social recruiting is divided into two different categories. The subdivision depends on the type of target group addressed.

Social distribution

Social Distribution refers to the use of social networks for recruitment and employer branding (dt. Employer branding ) of companies. Companies or personnel service providers address suitable candidates directly via their profile. They can forward the position to interested acquaintances and thus contribute to filling a position and increasing the level of awareness of a company.

Internet sourcing / social profiling

Internet sourcing refers to the use of profile data from social networks, search behavior on the Internet, blogs and online communities to identify previously passive job candidates. Passive candidates are those workers who are not actively looking for a job. In internet sourcing, also known as social profiling, candidates are not addressed directly ( professional profiling ), but via advertising banners.
