Society for the Study of Muslim Ethics

The Society for the Study of Muslim Ethics ( SSME ) is an academic society that promotes scholarly work in Islamic ethics and the relationship of Islamic ethics to other ethical traditions.

The non-profit organization was founded in 2009. It includes faculties, professors, and students in universities, colleges, and theological schools, primarily in the United States. A conference is organized annually together with the Society of Christian Ethics and the Society of Jewish Ethics .
