Soft opening

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As a soft opening ( English for Soft Opening ) an unofficial opening for the client operation is called (usually in hotels ), as a demarcation for later scheduled grand opening as the official opening.

The aim of this separation is to test the hotel under actual customer operation, but to the exclusion of the general public, and to be able to offer the prominent guests of the Grand Opening a well-rehearsed hotel.
