The Canton Senlis is a French constituency in Arrondissement of Senlis , in Oise and in the region of Hauts-de-France ; its capital is the eponymous community Senlis . Jérôme Bascher ( UMP ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2011 . The canton of Senlis is 168.01 km² and has 31,872 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 190 inhabitants per km² ( as of 2017 ).

Until the reorganization, the canton of Senlis consisted of the 17 municipalities of Aumont-en-Halatte , Avilly-Saint-Léonard , Barbery , Chamant , La Chapelle-en-Serval , Courteuil , Montépilloy , Mont-l'Évêque , Mortefontaine , Ognon , Orry- la-Ville , Plailly , Pontarmé , Senlis , Thiers-sur-Thève , Villers-Saint-Frambourg and Vineuil-Saint-Firmin . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​184.06 km ² .
