The canton of Pont-Sainte-Maxence is a French constituency in the arrondissement Clermont and Senlis , in Oise and in the region of Hauts-de-France ; its main town is Pont-Sainte-Maxence . Arnaud Dumontier ( LR ) and Khristine Foyart ( DVD ) have been representatives in the General Council of the department since 2015 .
The canton of Pont-Sainte-Maxence is 175.68 km² and has 31,544 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 180 inhabitants per km² (as of 2017). The canton of Pont-Sainte-Maxence has had a partnership relationship with the German municipality of Sulzbach in Hesse since 1982 .

Until the reorganization, the canton of Pont-Sainte-Maxence consisted of the 13 municipalities of Beaurepaire , Brasseuse , Fleurines , Pontpoint , Pont-Sainte-Maxence , Raray , Rhuis , Roberval , Rully , Saint-Vaast-de-Longmont , Verberie , Verneuil-en -Halatte and Villeneuve-sur-Verberie . Its layout corresponded to an area of 139.26 km 2 .
