Software update services

Software Update Services ( SUS ) is a program from Microsoft for update management in local networks. If SUS is installed on a server , it must first synchronize with the Microsoft update server, from then on it keeps all updates locally and automatically serves all clients .

The current version is called Windows Server Update Services ( WSUS ) by Microsoft (previously SUS 2.0; the beta version was still called WUS). In addition to the same principle, it contains numerous innovations.
