SonicStage is music management and dubbing software developed by Sony . In the past, it was included with many MD, Hi-MD, Atrac HDD, Atrac and Atrac CD flash players and served as a download portal for Sony's own CONNECT Music Store. SonicStage is the successor to OpenMG Jukebox and since version 4.0 it is more stable than older versions of both software.
Since Sony stopped selling Atrac-compatible music players in Europe, SonicStage has become obsolete. The latest version is SonicStage CP 4.3, which is mainly required for older Sony MD and Hi-MD Walkman.
