Manfred Bahrs

Manfred Bahrs (born November 5, 1938 ; † 1993 ) was a German football referee for the German Football Association .

Referee since 1962, the trained master electroplater led 110 games in the top division of the GDR , the Oberliga, for BSG Motor Leipzig Ost between 1973 and 1987 . From 1990 to 1993 Bahrs was chairman of the referee committee of the Leipzig Football Association . He was awarded the DFV plaque of honor for his services to refereeing.
