Sotiris René Sidiropoulos

Sotiris René Sidiropoulos (* 1977 in Paris ) is a French painter and sculptor .

Life

The family had an artistic tradition. The family's first iconography and sculpture workshop was set up in Cappadocia in 1848 . His father, an iconographer, sculptor and doctor of philosophy who had studied under Philopoemen Constantinidi or Caracosta and Costas Valsamis, taught his son the basics of iconography and sculpture.

In his youth Sotiris René Sidiropoulos was a student of the painter Zoe Valsamis and Philopoemen Constantinidi or Caracosta.

Later he studied with the master sculptor Costas Valsamis, who was a student of Ossip Zadkine . He completed his studies at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris. The painter painted icons of Byzantine art and Western art. He also painted portraits, ballerinas, bullfighting scenes and more.
