SoundFX
SoundFX is a tracker program and was one of the first Ultimate Soundtracker clones on the Amiga , which, in contrast to its role model, adheres to the Workbench standard and also has typical operating elements that correspond to the standard.
The program was originally an internal tool of the software company Linel - to this day it is unknown how the individual versions came to the public. Apart from minor changes in the file format, SoundFX is compatible with its predecessor, the Soundtracker. It is also possible to load IFF-8SVX samples.
Due to the cleaner and better programming of the tool, there are no crashes or other problems on newer and upgraded Amiga computers. SoundFX was not able to establish itself, however, because other programs based on soundtracker had better functionality.
