He discusses this discovery with his sister and a friend and decides not to tell his mother about it. The parents often quarrel until the father moves out and the divorce follows shortly thereafter. After their parents divorced, Speedy accidentally notices his mother's relationship with her tax advisor, Dr. Zwickleder meets eating. Dr. Zwickleder believes that children need a strict hand. The children suspect wedding plans and are unsure. The mother is the owner of a poorly selling wool shop. When their economic situation came to a head, Wilma Holzinger found out about the problem and gave the family the money they needed.
