Social facility

Social institutions are public institutions that fulfill the tasks of the social system .

In Germany, according to the principle of subsidiarity, independent organizations (see also welfare ) are to be treated and supported with priority over public authorities .

Social institutions are e.g. B. kindergartens, retirement homes or offers for disabled people. Further examples are cultural centers , intercultural centers, integration agencies and centers as well as multi-generation centers and family centers . They can be more or less clearly delimited from facilities with other tasks, e.g. B. Schools (educational mandate) or hospitals (medical care).
