Sport Algés e Dafundo is a sports club in the small Portuguese town of Algés . It was founded on June 19, 1915 and has departments in swimming, judo, sailing, basketball and rhythmic gymnastics.

Since 1952, 47 athletes from the club have competed in the Olympic Games. The greatest success was in 2000 in Sydney winning the bronze medal by judoka Nuno Delgado , the first ever Olympic medal for a Portuguese athlete in this sport.

In 2006 the club received an award from the International Olympic Committee .
