Language consent

Under Language consent (Voice Permission) refers to an explicit approval procedure of permission marketing , where the consumer give its consent advertising via natural language (or even beyond) can.

The collection of the advertising consent on the voice channel can z. B. via a call center or digital voice assistant.

In the case of e-mail marketing , the end user gives his e-mail address by voice. A confirmation e-mail ( double opt-in ) will then be sent to this e-mail address . The first step of this two-stage consent is the voice consent (single opt-in ), which must be logged for verification purposes. If language is used as a biometric feature, advertising consent can also be obtained in a legally secure manner without a confirmation e-mail.

Application example

The first voice consent via the voice assistant Alexa was collected on October 4, 2018 in Vienna by Torsten Schwarz on the sidelines of the now e-mail conference on a test skill from XQueue GmbH on an Amazon Echo .
