Square One Shopping Center is a shopping mall in Mississauga , Ontario , Canada . It is one of the largest shopping malls in Canada and has a sales area of around 150,000 m 2 , with over 360 shops, including restaurants and cafes. The shopping center has around 21 million visitors every year. The shopping center is located at 100 City Drive and is therefore centrally located. The mall is located approximately 28 kilometers from downtown Toronto and approximately 16 kilometers from Toronto Pearson Airport. In addition, the center is located near major Highway 403 and Hurontario Street.
In the immediate vicinity of the mall are the Mississauga Civic Center and the Mississauga Living Arts Center , which are located opposite the mall. In addition to inhabited areas near the mall, there is also a central library, a large bookstore and a Cineplex cinema with IMAX and 13 movie theaters nearby.
On the shopping mall area there is a bus station from MiWay , the municipal bus operator Mississauga Transit, which opened in 1997. A police station, the Peel Regional Police Station , which opened in 2002, has been set up to keep the area safe .
Every year between June and October, a farmers market takes place in a cordoned off section of the parking area. This is open from Friday to Sunday.
