St. Alexius Hospital
The St. Alexius Hospital is a former hospital at Alexianerplatz 1 in the Augustinusviertel in Neuss . The carriers were the Alexians from Neuss .
history
The house was built in 1868/69.
A later focus of the house was psychiatry. In 2004 it was merged with the St. Josef Hospital under the umbrella of the St. Augustinus Clinics . In 2010, the sponsor decided to continue operating only one location, namely the St. Josef Hospital.
In 2012 there was talk of converting the empty house into a refugee home. In 2012, the hospital site was put out to tender for urban planning. The prize was awarded to Wick & Partner from Stuttgart. In 2014, the development plan was designed for public participation.
