The St. Johannesstift is a welfare organization in Ershausen , Eichsfeld district , Thuringia .

history

The home was established as a foundation in 1884.

During the Nazi era , 93 children and young people were deported in 1939 as part of the “ euthanasia ” murder program.

Facility

Today 210 people with mental and multiple disabilities live in the facility. Berthold Ehling has been managing director since 2015.
