Omsk State Agricultural University
The Omsk State Agricultural University ( Russian Омский государственный аграрный университет ) is a university for training and research and a method center for agriculture for the Omsk region . The college was founded in 1918 under the name Omsk State Agricultural Institute. In 1994 the institute was integrated into the new university together with the State Veterinary Institute and the Institute for Agricultural Economics and Education. Omsk University is one of the largest agricultural science institutions in Russia. Over 60,000 agricultural specialists have been trained since it was founded.
