The Statehood Day ( Croatian Dan državnosti ) is in Croatia on 30 May as each year national holiday celebrated.

On this day in 1990, the Sabor , the parliament of the Republic of Croatia with its two chambers, declared the country's sovereignty and independence. With this act began the process of separation from the central Yugoslav state .

The full state independence of Croatia was decided on November 18th and is celebrated every year with Independence Day.
