The Anđelko Herjavec Stadium is a football stadium in Varaždin , Croatia . It is the home stadium of the NK Varteks . It is located directly on the Varaždin – Zagreb expressway , in Zagrebačka ulica, opposite the “Varteks” textile factory.
The stadium got its name in memory of former club president Anđelko Herjavec after his death in a traffic accident. During his tenure, the NK Varteks association was able to achieve its greatest successes.
The offices of the board of directors, a conference center, the trophy room, the fan shop and the club café "Contra", which is also frequented by players, are located in the stadium itself.
The stadium itself has a capacity of 10,800 spectators.
In 2005 the stadium was brought up to the requirements of UEFA with extensive renovation measures.
