The Bur Sudan Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in the Sudanese port city of Bur Sudan on the Red Sea .
It is located in the center of Bur Sudan and is used by the football clubs al-Hilal al-Sahel , al-Merreikh al-Thagher and Hay al-Arab .
It is mainly used for soccer games and has a capacity of 7,000 spectators.
It was one of five venues for the 2011 African Nations Cup .
