Maria Fremerey town house
The town house for Maria Fremerey in Düsseldorf, Beethovenstrasse 21, was built in 1905–1906 based on designs by the architect Carl Wilhelm Schleicher in neo -Gothic style based on Italian models and is a listed building .
description
The building is three-story above a high basement. The entrance has a skylight with a pointed arch, as do all the windows in the facade. The facade is clad with ashlar. The height of the second floor is slightly lower than that of the first, as it was designed as a mezzanine .
Art historical significance
The house is based on the Italian Gothic :
"Because of its unusual design based on Italian palazzo architecture, the property with the garden architecture was entered in the list of monuments."
