City Museum Leonding
The City Museum Leonding , and Tower Museum called, which is located in the tower 9 tower mounting Linz in Leonding and operated as a museum in 1999.
history
Like the rest of the towers of the Linz Tower Fortification , Tower 9 - also known as the Apollonia Tower - was built between 1830 and 1833. The tower was renovated in 1996 and the Leonding City Museum was opened in 1999. Today it houses a collection of natural history, archaeological and urban history exhibits on around 800 m².
