The Stadtwerke Lingen GmbH (Swü) is a shareholder of public utility by the lake GmbH & Co. KG . The Swü operates the Bodensee-Therme in Überlingen , the neighboring Strandbad West and three parking garages. in the spa town on Lake Constance. Another parking garage has been under construction since June 2018, which will be completed for the 2020 State Garden Show.

history

Stadtwerke Überlingen GmbH was founded in 1986 as an energy supplier and originally offered electricity, natural gas, water and district heating. After the merger with Technische Werke Friedrichshafen GmbH to form Stadtwerk am See in 2012, initially only the operation of the parking facilities remained. In 2016, the former Sport- und Freizeitanlagen GmbH, also a 100% subsidiary of the city of Überlingen, with the two leisure pools was integrated into Swü under company law.
