Stand height

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term stand height includes, among other things:

  • the level of materials or substances in the surrounding envelopes (vessels)
  • the standing height for standing objects is the upper edge of the upper (main) surface. In the hospital bed example, the standing height is the upper edge of the lying surface, not the height of the surrounding protective grille.
  • the standing height for athletes, which can be varied through technical measures, for example through increased binding plates when carving (skiing)
  • The standing height in archery refers to the distance between the string and the lowest point on the handle (of the bow). It has a not inconsiderable influence on the performance and shooting comfort of a bow.
