Findings from ruins

In 2385, about two years after the destruction of the space station Deep Space Nine, Starfleet had a new, larger space station called Deep Space Nine built near Bajor. Ever since Kira Nerys rammed an enemy spaceship with her shuttle in the Bajoran wormhole, the Bajoran wormhole has collapsed. Over 3000 people attended the inauguration ceremony for the new DS9, including Sisko and other former crew members. When Nanietta Bacco, the President of the Federation, wants to begin her inauguration speech in front of the crew and the guests, she is fatally injured by a bullet from a projectile weapon. The Bajoran Enkar Sirsy, who is the chief of staff of the Bajoran Prime Minister Asarem Wadeen, is quickly arrested as an urgent suspect. She cannot remember what happened, but is still convinced of her guilt.

Kira Nerys is officially missing, unofficially dead. When her shuttle collides in the wormhole, she comes to the prophets and has a rotating body experience in the heavenly temple. In it she finds herself in the role of the Bajoran Keev Anora. She joins a resistance group that leads Bajoran slaves through a secret system of tunnels to the town of Joradell. The group called the Guild also includes the Bajoran Altek Dans, with whom Keev falls in love.

Meanwhile, it is found out on DS9 that Sirsy is probably not responsible for the murder himself, but was only used for it with the help of a chip implanted under her skin. When it is discovered that the chip has Tzenkethi DNA, the wormhole suddenly opens and a small spaceship approaches the station. Altek Dans materializes on the ops and Kira Nerys in the cargo hold - facing Taran'atar.

The crimson shade

In the Cardassian Union, the election for the office of castellan, ie head of government, is imminent. Incumbent Rakena Garan, whose political reputation depends on maintaining Cardassia's alliance with the Federation, is standing for re-election. The new, nationalist Cardassia Front party, led by Evek Temet, is against Garan's pro-Federation policy and, in Garan's eyes, is therefore a threat to the Alliance. The Enterprise-E is at Cardassia Prime in preparation for a meeting between Federation President Bacco and Garan that is planned there. In the situation, the body of a Bajoran Starfleet officer is found on Cardassia Prime. Cardassian Arati Mhevet is the lead investigator in the murder case. Elim Garak, Cardassia's ambassador to the Federation, in cooperation with Picard, is deploying the Cardassian Enterprise crew member Glinn Dygan as an undercover investigator Blok in the Cardassian borough of Nord-Torr, a stronghold on Cardassia's front that Garak would like to have independently observed. When Blok, alias Dygan, is arrested by Mhevet, Garak blackmailed Mhevet to continue using Dygan as an undercover investigator, threatening to reveal information from Mhevet's past. Garak is convinced opposite Garan that a member of the Cardassian terrorist group True Way is responsible for the now well-known by now murder of Bacco and that Cardassias front from the True Path could be used to undermine the Cardassian government. Shortly after Garan rejected Garak's urgent suggestion to share his findings with Picard, a bomb exploded in Garak's vehicle. By beaming himself away just before the explosion, he escapes his death, which he, however, fakes with Picard's help in order to gather evidence for his theory. Crell, the head of the Cardassian secret service, is implicated in the murder of Bacco. Garan has learned of Crell's involvement earlier than previously announced. With this information, the disclosure of which would jeopardize Garan's re-election, Garak forces Garan to abandon her candidacy for the office of castellan. Garak then runs for office himself.

At a losing point

The reproductive crisis among the Andorians has worsened to the point where, without effective countermeasures, they will become extinct in a few decades. Shar, who is therefore doing research on Andor with Professor Zh'Thiin on the Shedai meta-genome, which is likely to be helpful for a remedy, turns to his former colleague Dr. Bashir on DS9 with the request that he steal research-relevant, secret information from Starfleet and use it to invent an effective antidote. Meanwhile, there is a political dispute on Andor about zh'Thiin's research. The Tholians have information about the likely saving meta-genome and hope to win Andor as a new member of the Typhon Pact. Meanwhile, Ishan Anjar, interim president of the Federation, is maintaining an embargo on Andor against internal resistance, also with the help of the Aventine, commanded by Ezri Dax. Sarina Douglas, deputy head of security at DS9 and secretly a member of Section 31, helps Bashir obtain the secret information about the meta-genome with the help of the section. Having this at his disposal and lying to his superiors, Bashir secretly fled to Bajor, where he met four of the Federation's most recognized researchers specializing in genetic engineering , including Dr. Pulaski, researching a cure for the Andorian reproductive crisis. Bashir's secrecy does not remain hidden from the Starfleet leadership for long, so that Ro has to arrest the researchers on Anjar's instructions. Upon arrest, Bashir tells Ro that he has indeed found a cure.

With the secret help of some supporters, Bashir manages to break out of his imprisonment on DS9 and escape in a runabout and a private freighter to Andor. Meanwhile, he announces his immediate resignation from Starfleet, as he feels more committed to the Hippocratic Oath than Anjar's orders. Anjar has Bashir pursued by the Aventine in order to prevent Bashir from handing over to the Andorians the cure he carries in his body. In Andor's orbit there is a skirmish between the Aventine, the freighter and two Andorian spaceships, causing the Aventine to run aground in orbit. With the help of the freighter captain and Shares, Bashir arrives at Prof. zh'Thiin. By broadcasting a video announcement on all channels on Andor, in which he denounces the withholding of information that would solve the reproductive crisis and the government's suppression of Bashir's demand for help, he is paving the way for a political overthrow: the previous ruling coalition will prevail a vote of no confidence was disempowered and replaced by a coalition to which the previous opposition parties belonged. Bashir, zh'Thiin and Shar can distribute the remedy across the planet. In the end, Bashir also receives help from the Aventine commander, Dax, who thus opposes Anjar. However, he has left no stone unturned in stopping Bashir, including passing Admiral Akaar, the commander of Starfleet, in the chain of command. Dax is relieved of her command for disobeying orders. She and Bashir are arrested on Anjar's behalf and charged with treason, among other things. Bashir finds himself in a remote prison asteroid. The new Andorian government announces Andor's re-entry into the Federation. Months later, Andorian children are born thanks to the cure.

The poison cup

The Titan is ordered back to Earth, where Akaar promotes Riker to Admiral. Akaar informs him that Ishan Anjar, interim president of the Federation, is ignoring suspicions that the Cardassian nationalist organization True Road was behind the murder of President Bacco. Instead, Anjar is out to investigate the Typhon Pact as the responsible authority.

At the same time, Titan security chief Tuvok is called to a secret mission on the spaceship Snipe. As part of this mission, he becomes part of the Active Four group , which also includes Nog from DS9, William T. Riker's twin transporter Thomas Riker and two binary. They are tasked by Velk, Anjar's chief of staff, with finding and arresting the murderers of President Bacco, whom Velk and Anjar assume are Tzenkethi.

Admiral Riker sends his first officer Vale temporarily with the medical spaceship Lionheart on a secret mission disguised as a transfer flight to investigate the current situation. She visits Dax in prison and is then informed by Sarina Douglas about the likely location of Julian Bashir's imprisonment. Bashir was imprisoned there on Anjar's behalf. With the help of Troi and pro-Federation Andorians, Vale frees Bashir and takes him to Andor, where he enjoys political asylum.

The Active Four group on board the spaceship Snipe, commanded by Jan Kincade, who works with Velk, soon realizes that the real target of the Snipe is Cardassians. You can take hold of four True Path members. Instead of bringing them back to Earth, they must, according to orders, take them to an interrogation facility on Klingon territory run by Klingon mercenaries. When the Active Four discover that Kincade is torturing the prisoners to death, Tuvok, Nog, and Tom Riker attempt to get them off planets and into Federation territory. The Cardassians die in a firefight with the mercenaries before the Titan and - led by Martok personally - two Klingon warships attack the interrogation base. Nog kills Kincade, the Titan can bring him and the rest of the Active Four on board. The Klingon warships destroy the facility and kill all the Klingon mercenaries there in order to cover up the role of the Klingons there.

The Titan crew and Nog discover that the Tzenkethi DNA was deliberately placed on the scene of Bacco's murder in order to blame the Typhon Pact for the murder. The Cardassian Throk, a member of the True Path, turns out to be a true murderer . Before Riker or Akaar can officially accuse Velk, he puts it against Anjar confesses to having authorized a non-sanctioned secret operation, whereby he is arrested. In this way he prevents Anjar from cooperating with Velk's behavior. However, Riker suspects Anjar of cooperating with Velk and therefore wants to reveal the intrigue together with Picard.

Kingdoms of Peace

Admiral Riker and Captain Picard cooperate to expose the federal government conspiracy implicated in the murder of President Bacco, including Ishan Anjar's role. He secretly uses a corrupt Starfleet Admiral to keep the Enterprise crew from doing their research. An external team around Dr. Crusher who is following a trail on the Bajoran planet Jevalan. The team finds out that a recently deceased Bajoran doctor discovered the body of a Bajoran named Ishan Anjar some time ago. Under strict secrecy, the team set out to get to the remains of the Bajoran in order to secure evidence of the apparently falsified identity of the incumbent interim president. With the support of Tom Riker, the team can defend itself against the attempts of forces loyal to Anjar who want to prevent it from collecting evidence. Finally, Picard and Riker are able to turn evidence of Anjar's forged identity over to the Federation Prosecutor's Office. Prosecutor General Louvois confronts Anjar, whose real name is Baras Rodirya, in front of the assembled Federation Council with the falsification of his identity, as a result of which he is arrested and recalled as president. Rodirya once covered up his complicity in the torture and murder of imprisoned Bajorans during the occupation of Bajor by Cardassia and assumed the wrong name to cover up. In addition, Rodirya knew early on of the conspiracy through which Bacco died.

Finally Andor becomes a member of the federation again. The Andorian Prime Minister Kellessar zh'Tarash will also be the new President of the Federation.
